Chief Apostle Dr. Charles L. Wright, was born again December 31, 1973, under the Pastoral Leadership of the late Bishop Dr. Marshall Carter, Founder of the United Churches of God in Christ, Inc (UCOGIC) in Atlanta, Georgia, Apostle Wright worked faithfully in the local church and was ordained by Bishop Dr. Marshall Carter and held many ministerial positions in the local church as well as on the national level. After the transition of Bishop Dr. Marshal Carter in 2003, Apostle Wright was call to found the Faith Covenant, UCOGIC in Tucker, Georgia. Apostle Wright was led to Fellowship under the leadership of Bishop Dr. Dewey F. Long of Dacula UCOGIC in Dacula, Georgia. Apostle Wright was appointed as First Assistant to Bishop Dr. Dewey F. Long in the By Faith Jurisdiction of UCOGIC.

Bishop Dr. Dewey F. Long after much prayerful consideration renamed his local assembly to the Covenant Fellowship Church International. In the year 2011, Bishop Dr. Dewey F. Long transitioned but before he transitioned he asked Apostle Wright to carry on the "Work" and "Keep Walking."

Apostle Wright's education begin in the Dekalb County School System of Georgia and graduated from Decatur High School. Apostle Wright began his college education at Dekalb Community College and later transferred his credits to Georgia State University. Later Apostle Wright enrolled in Faith Bible Institute of Monroe, Louisiana, where he received his Bible College Diploma. Apostle Wright received his Masters Degree under the tutelage Bishop Dr. Dewey F. Long, Founder and President of Covenant Fellowship Church Bible Institute, where he earned his Master's in Theology.

Apostle Wright was affirmed and consecrated as the Presiding Prelate for the Covenant Fellowship Churches International on June 2, 2012.

Apostle Wright, Kept Walking" and added churches to the fellowship in Mexico, Liberia, Kenya, Uganda and India and in the United States

In June of 2022, Chief Apostle Charles L. Wright joined fellowship with the International Pentecostal Assemblies Ecumenical where Chief Apostle Dr. William McCoy, D.D., ThD, PhD, is the Presiding Prelate and Founder. Chief Apostle Charles L. Wright after completing the required studies through the IPAE MIDWEST BIBLE COLLEGE, In August of 2023 Chief Apostle Charles L. Wright graduated with a Doctorate of Divinity and Doctorate of Theology.
